This Halloween Participate in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

New Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Boxes

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF has been around for over 60 years. I remember participating as a kid. While there have been some changes, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF gives children of all ages the chance to help kids in need all over the world.

It is easy to give your kids, whether they are children, tweens or teens, the chance to participate in this wonderful activity. Order your Trick or Treat Boxes today. They will ship to you within 7-10 days, so don’t wait. You will receive the boxes (newly designed), educational resources, posters, stickers and a DVD.

For the artists in your home, for the first time, UNICEF is inviting Trick-or-Treaters for UNICEF to design their own box in the Create a Character contest. Submitted designs will have a chance to become part of 2013’s limited edition collection.

I am helping promote Unicef through my participation in The Global Team of 200, a group of parents writing about charitable projects. Parents, there are other things that you can do to support UNICEF:

  • Make an online donation
  • Create your own fundraising webpage and share on Facebook or Twitter or email friends and family to make donations and get the ball rolling!
For more information on Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, watch the video below and follow Unicef on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
Through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, more than $167 million has been raised, providing children in 190 countries and territories with much-needed health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. Please allow your kids the privilege of taking part this year in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.
