I spent the last week in Las Vegas at the 2014 International CES seeing thousands of consumer electronics of every type. Walking around the biggest convention center I’ve ever seen, is extremely overwhelming. That is why I appreciate the Tech Zones that CES creates.
The Tech Zones are fairly small areas that CES creates for a specific audience. While they added many new CES Tech Zones this year, some that have been around for a while are:
- Silvers Summit
- TransformingEDU (formerly HigherEd Tech)
- Fitness Tech
In addition to showing their products in the same area, they each offer panels or events for attendees. MommyTech decided to add something new this year – live TV interviews through MommyTech TV. You will soon be able to watch them all.
I was asked to participate, and I would like to share this panel that I appeared on – ATT Sponsors Moms Go Mobile at MommyTech TV. The panel was led by Beth Blecherman of TechMamas and also participating were Rebecca Levey of Kidzvuz, Gloria Sin, a freelancer in NYC and myself, writer at this blog and Technology at Any Age. We discussed new advances in mobile technology and how they are changing our lives.
There are a handful of videos ready at MommyTech TV now and you will be able to find more as the week goes on. In addition, I will be writing many posts about the 2014 International CES and the products and technologies I saw there over the next few weeks, both here and at Technology at Any Age.
