Magisto Transforms Personal Videos Into Professional Looking Movies

There are many video editing apps available to help you create better videos. However, I have never seen one as simple to use with such beautiful results as the Magisto app. One click will turn your video into a work of art.

You don’t need any knowledge of video editing at all with Magisto. This is how it works:

  1. Shoot a video through your Magisto Smartphone app (available for Apple and Android) or choose a video from your camera roll, which will appear in the app.
  2. When you are done, just press “create”, choose a title and a song, and Magisto will create your masterpiece.
  3. The video will be private unless you change it.
  4. You can upload to YouTube or share on Facebook or Twitter through the app.
Magisto is meant to be used for personal use. You must add a song to each video. You can use one from Magisto or upload your own. These are all popular songs. If you upload your video to iTunes, you can not monetize that video. That is pretty much the only slight drawback to Magisto I have found, and it will not affect most users.
Watch this video from Magisto to see how it works:

Here is a short video of mine that I had Magisto edit:

And the best part is, the Magisto video editing app is free. There are extra features or upgrades that you need to pay for, but you can still make many amazing videos for free.

  2. They could make my life so much easier!! Thanks for the heads up :D

  3. I couldn’t see your video! Darn! I wanted to watch it! It said that the video contains content from BMG _Rights_Management blah blah blah! Hope that doesn’t mean that we can’t use Magisto because it looks super cool!

  4. Helena, do you live in the U.S. or another country? Because of the songs, some countries won’t play the videos on YouTube. You can still create the videos and send them to people from the Magisto site.

  5. Very Cool!

  6. Looks really cool!

  7. This is great, I love this software!

  8. I like apps like this. I have several (no Magisto) and they do make a video so much fun. I don’t have an App for my phone so I think this could be good!

  9. Darlene :

Ok. You piqued my interest. I haven’t used a video editor much since the learning curve has been pretty steep (at least for me).

  10. Middle-aged Diva (Carol) :

It’s amazing what so-called “amateurs” can do today. Nice idea!
