LEGO Life of George Combines Digital and Physical Gaming

Wouldn’t it be great if you could keep your teens interested in LEGOs and the skills that come with physically building with their hands. Knowing how teens today love everything digital, LEGO has created, LEGO Life of George, a fully integrated digital-to-physical gaming experience merging apps and a bricks game set.

You buy the LEGO product, which contains 144 bricks, a mat to build on, and a getting started guide. Then you download the free app from the iTunes store. The app is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Players can play in Game or Creation mode.

In either mode, LEGO Life of George works by pulling up a picture on the app and then creating it with the actual LEGOs. The levels within the game are focused on different themes/locations in George’s album and are comprised of models of varying difficulty based on number of bricks needed and building techniques.

LEGO Life of George is recommended for ages 14+ and sells for $29.99. You can buy it at LEGO stores, on the LEGO website and at It would make a wonderful holiday gift for any teenager.
