You are probably wondering why there is an article comparing books and video games. Aren’t they two totally different types of media? You’d be surprised. One of my favorite articles is 10 Truths About Books and What They Have to Do With Video Games by James Paul Gee.
I would love to hear your thoughts after reading this article. Do you now think more highly of video games and see that they have many of the same benefits as reading, and even more? Had you ever realized before that books have some of the same problems that we always worried about when our kids spent too much time playing video games? Would you like to see more article on the benefits of video games. Please let me know in the comments!
