10 New Year’s Resolutions For a Better World

someecards.com - I can't believe it's been a year since I didn't become a better person.

Wouldn’t our world be a better place if these were the type of New Year’s resolutions that everybody made? I hope that everyone can learn to:

1. Be less selfish.

2. Help those less fortunate than ourselves.

3. Smile as often as possible.

4. Accept people’s differences.

5. Debate and/or compromise instead of fighting.

6. Look at the big picture.

7. Treat every human being with dignity.

8. Be truthful to yourself and others.

9. Spread happiness.

10. Try not to hate.

Kids model themselves after their parents. Keep that in mind and try to be good role models all the time. What do you think?

  1. It would be such a nicer world to live in if people could do the above. Shoot, it would be nice if people could just do half of the above!

  2. Great resolutions! I think all of us need to embrace all of these.

  3. Those are great resolutions!

  4. Amanda Shoemaker :

    Awesome :) Love these!

  5. Loved the resolutions, we should all embrace resolutions like these.

  6. I agree and I think the best resolutions are those for inner improvements in advancement of becoming a better person.

  7. Middle-aged Diva (Carol) :

“There is no ‘try,’ grasshopper. There is only ‘do.'” Raising a glass to a better world and all of us doing our part. Nice!

  8. These are great! It would be a great world to embrace your 10!
